Written by Captain L.R.W. Beavis, and edited by M.S. Kline, this book is a collection of stories, as told by Captain Bevis, spanning from his apprenticeship on the sailing vessel Star of France in 1878, to his retirement in 1930 as the captain of a steam ship. 

This cache of uncirculated hardcover books was recently discovered, and is being offered exclusively to supporters of Northwest Seaport. These are the last known inventory of uncirculated copies of this book, and when they are gone, they are gone.
